The core of this theory concerns the identity and origins of one of the members of Almata. After establishing this character’s true identity I attempt to expand the theory by examining other characters for potential connections.
Barkhorning up the wrong tree- Latte’s Kuro predictions
I’m submitting early to: A) break the drought, and B) spread out the theories in the lead up to Kuro No Kiseki. I’ll probably be wrong but here’s the Latte forecast for the events to come…

The Imagination – Hellseye’s Kuro no Kiseki Predictions
Well, the game is about to come out so it’s time to give our predictions. I’ve written a very generalized prediction for the Calvard arc called Land of Lies; however now that we have seen (essentially) all the pre-release material and the game is about to come out, I can make more specific predictions about the narrative, character, themes, etc.

Kuro cracklet: the garden of ‘A’
A quick prediction for the probable antagonists of Kuro no Kiseki.
September 26 edit: This theory has been at least partially broken by subsequently released information.

In brief, the little sprite-like girl on the Kuro no Kiseki key visual is a form of communication device. Furthermore, I believe the figure is contained inside the old orbment Agnes is concerned with, much like a ‘genie in a bottle’
In Bloom: the Master Cards’ flowers
The meaning behind the imagery on the Master Arts cards from Ao no Kiseki has been a topic of discussion for almost a decade now, which has spun into a number of theories about the Sept-Terrion, Holy Beasts, etc. Trails of Cold Steel IV killed some of these, but there are still a few areas that haven’t been considered in much detail. In this theory, I want to expand upon and modify my Reddit post analyzing the flower imagery on each of the cards based on new observations.

Web of Lies
For the third post-Hajimari theory, the wind directs us towards the possible worlds of Calvard’s web of lies.
The Mirage Axis
Of the three higher elements, Time and Space are fairly simple enough to understand, if only because they’ve been covered so much in other fiction—time travel, teleportation, making things bigger and smaller, etc etc.
But even in the series itself, we’ve only ever gotten piecemeal explanations on what Mirage is, buzzwords like ‘perception’, ‘cognizance’, ‘fate’, and things like that.
So what does it mean when those concepts are active alongside the traditional foundation elements of Time and Space? That’s what I’ll be musing about in this theory.
(Contains spoilers up to Hajimari)
To the ends of the Earth
Nayuta no Kiseki occupies an odd place in the Kiseki series, and fans tend to think of it as an enjoyable outing but not part of the same world as the ‘mainline’ Kiseki storyline. This theory builds on my previous theory (posted to this site under the title ‘The Wizard of Ouroboros’) and includes new hints from Hajimari no Kiseki.
Please note this post includes endgame spoilers for Sen IV and Nayuta as well as partial spoilers for Hajimari.
